We always check the dog’s temperament and ask if they have any medical conditions, these questions are included in our ‘Client’s Records’.
We always discuss at length with the owner how they would like to have their dog styled. We qualified and able to groom to breed standard or however the owner prefers. As ever the choice is always yours.
We consider every dog separately, when pricing the groom we take the following factors into consideration:
Size of the dog
Stage of the coat and its condition
Extra charges may be incurred for de-matting
Thickness of the coat
Neutered or not neutered
Pet dog or breeding dog
Dog grooming is a passion for us. Please be as precise as possible when describing your dog to us over the phone. We do not want to overcharge, you neither do we wish to underestimate our work.
The price of the grooming will be discussed with you before we start the groom. Please enquire if your breed is not included in our ‘Prices’ section.
All dogs from pedigrees to cross breeds benefit from regular grooming. Grooming helps to maintain the skin and coat in good condition. It also makes the dog feel better and look great.
Short haired dogs that are groomed regularly should shed less, meaning fewer hairs around your home. For long haired dogs there is the benefit of keeping the coat matt free, as well as their coat being cut and styled to the length that is manageable to you.

*Please note- A £5 cancellation fee is payable to any customer who cancels their appointment within 48 hours of the appointment time, or to any customer who does not show for their appointment and has not cancelled first. This will be payable on the next visit.
We do not want to offend with this charge, however, as we only groom on a one to one basis for the welfare of the dog, short notice missed appointments can really affect our business.
Whilst we do understand sometimes this cannot be helped, please can we politely request that if you cannot make your appointment, that you give us a call in good time, we then have the chance of filling the empty appointment with another customer*
